Bending the Bow | Free Printable Devotion
My friend Bethany Lee and I are so excited to share our second free printable devotion and Bible-journaling goodies with you today! If you missed our first collaboration, you can find it here.
Bethany is a creative blogger over at pitterandglink.com who happens to LOVE Bible journaling. We have joined forces to offer you a short devotion along with Bethany’s hand-crafted journaling printables all for FREE!
Today’s devotion is from one of my favorite Psalms written by King David. Psalm 18 describes God as a Warrior who fights for us. Isn’t that good news in a world in which our enemy “prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8, NIV)? I don’t know about you, but I think he’s often prowling after me!
I’m so glad to be on the Lord’s side, because “the one who is in [me] is greater than the one who is in the world” (1 John 4:4b).
We so hope you enjoy spending this time with the Lord, whether you have ever done Bible journaling or not. Maybe now is the time to let that creative spirit out! Loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, includes worshiping Him with every ounce of creativity and talent He gives. Your Bible journaling creation doesn’t have to be perfect: just let it reflect your heart for Jesus. 🙂

You are so welcome! I pray you are blessed in your time with Jesus! 🙂
Thank you so much for this, I spent the entire day meditating and journaling this “Bending the Bow” and also “Like a Tree’. I will be sharing this with a group of ladies this Saturday, we come together to do some creative journaling and I am believing that this will be a wonderful instrument of God’s reminders to us. Thank you again and I can send you a link or pictures of what we create if you want. God Bless you more.
