The FOCUSED 15 Challenge

You want to study the Bible and grow your faith. I know you do. And I know you want to start 2021 with a daily Bible habit. I also know that even when your heart is right, life can often get in the way.

Groceries must be shopped, laundry folded, homework checked, meals prepared, work done, relationships built, ministry carried out. And even when we have the best of intentions, it’s really hard to stay consistent with an in-depth Bible study.

But when we don’t stay in the Word, we don’t grow. Relationships are harder, work suffers, real ministry is impossible, and our hearts grow discontent. That’s because apart from HIM we can do nothing. And His Word is the truth we need to walk in day by day.

The good news is that it doesn’t have to be that way. You don’t have to just settle for the crumbs from the Master’s table. That’s a lie from the enemy. Instead, you can sit down and feast on His Word. Even if you are super busy.

In the FOCUSED 15 Challenge, I will show you how to study the Bible in just 15 minutes a day. I’m not talking about reading a daily devotional. I’m talking about getting into the Word so you can grow your faith.

Most Bible studies and workshops take hours. Even when we start with good intentions, we tend to give up when we can’t keep up. But growing a vibrant relationship with God is not about having a perfect Bible-reading plan or a program.

It’s about having a heart that seeks God and desires to grow in His Word. In just 15 minutes a day, you can grow if you are really focused. It’s all about finding the right 15 and implementing a few strategies.

In the FOCUSED 15 Challenge you will learn to

  • Prepare with the right strategies
  • Protect your 15
  • Prioritize with the right resources
  • Plan ahead for maximum impact
  • Pursue Jesus with all your heart

And best of all, it’s FREE!

So, don’t let the enemy keep you busy, distracted, and unfulfilled. God has so much more for you than that. When you open your Bible, meditate on its truth, and apply it to your life, the Holy Spirit will work with you to grow your relationship with Him.

The more you grow spiritually, the more love, joy, and peace will be manifested in your life. You will develop a love for God’s Word that will make you hungry for more. You will be confident in what you believe and have a burning passion to share it with others.

So, what are you waiting for? Come join me as we explore Matthew 6 with the strategies and resources to help you focus for 15 minutes and grow your faith.

"Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel--the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures regarding his Son, who as to his human nature was a descendant of David, and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 1:1-4, NIV).
All of Scripture, all of history, all of time has been about Jesus Christ, Son of God.
Do you know Him? You can. His life, death, and resurrection are historical fact. All so that you could know Him and have eternal life.
Jesus loves you! ❤

"The women who had come with Jesus from Galilee followed Joseph and saw the tomb and how his body was laid in it. Then they went home and prepared spices and perfumes. But they rested on the Sabbath in obedience to the commandment" (Luke 23:55-56).
Can you imagine the horror these women had witnessed? Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Susanna, and many others had followed Jesus and helped support his ministry (Luke 8:3).
Now all their hopes had been crushed as they stood at a distance and witnessed Jesus' agonizing death on the cross (Luke 23:49). His own mother had to stand by helplessly as her son cried out, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit" (Luke 23:46).
As we women often do, they looked for a way to still serve Him, even in His death, by preparing His body for burial. Sometimes, it's the little things.
When our hearts are breaking and we think we can't take another breath, sometimes we need something in our hands--a burial spice, a casserole, a text that says I'm here.
We can't make the hurt go away, but we can channel it into something useful, something hopeful, something comforting.
As they rested on the Sabbath, I'm sure they anticipated the opportunity to see Him one more time, to minister to Him once more with the spices and perfumes they had prepared.
Hearts crushed, hands open.
Grieved but grateful. Resting but ready.
Because if there was anything they knew for sure, it's that Jesus was no ordinary man. And when hearts are turned toward Him, anything can happen.
