Hey there, friend!
Just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself to those of you who don’t know me personally. Pull up a chair and let me share my story so you can know me a little better.
I started this blog in 2015 out of a desire to share with other women the one thing that really changed my life–spending quality with Jesus every day.
About fifteen years ago my children were little, my marriage was in chaos, and I didn’t know how to handle the problems in my life. I was a believer and I knew God’s promises were true; I just didn’t know how to make them real in my life. So I prayed. Desperately.
The Lord led me to some different books that inspired me to get up early each day before my family so I could spend time seeking His face. I had nothing left to lose, so I did.
And my life was radically changed.
See, I thought all my problems were because of other people in my life, but God began to show me things I needed to change. It wasn’t easy, but day by day I began to grow and mature in my walk with the Lord. My marriage relationship improved because I took responsibility for the things that I could change. I began to develop more peace and patience with my children.
Then as I grew, the Lord began to fill my heart with a passion and desire for more of Him, for making disciples, for worship and the Word, and to be on mission with Him.
I realized that there was more to salvation than getting a ticket to heaven–God desired to radically change my life from the inside out. And that’s His desire for each of us. We can have as much of the life of God in us as we are willing to surrender of ourselves and let Him have His way.

My life hasn’t been perfect since that life-changing decision to seek Him first. But my heart has been forever changed as I have fallen in love with the King of kings. God is good and His love for us endures forever!
Because I wanted to grow in my understanding of God’s truth and be better equipped to teach it to others, I earned a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from Liberty University in 2023. This education only fueled my desire to write and teach, sharing these truths with other women.
My heart for women is to be all that God created us and called us to be: women who are filled with spiritual wisdom and understanding, pleasing God, bearing fruit in good works, growing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, having great endurance and patience in trials, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father (Colossians 1:9-12).
